In this paper the authors propose to solve the problem when choosing energy-efficient objects in terms of quantity and quality of applied structures. With this approach, the quantitative parameters allow determining the required mass of structures related to the materialization of the forms and structures of the objects under construction, whereas quality parameters allow the realistic assessment of bearing (strength, stiffness and stability) and enclosing (heat, sound and moisture protection) properties of structures. The search for the desired design solution is proposed to be carried out based on mathematical methods of optimization using CAD. This allows developing a sufficient number of options for a short period of time for further choice of a rational solution of the building project of environment.
