CREATIVE WORK OF THE PETERSBURG ARCHITECT L.A. ILIN IN THE 1920—1930-IES

The creative work of the well-known St. Petersburg architect-planner Lev Alexandrovich Ilin on the working first proposals of the city-development of Petrograd – Leningrad in the Soviet period is covered. In the 1920-1930-ies he formed the team of the architects and engineers, who worked out the first planning designs, which are defined the city development of Leningrad in this period. Design approaches characteristic for Ilin and his colleagues are regarded. The result of the work of this team in the 1930-ies is became the Master Plan of Leningrad, confirmed on the state level in the end of 1935. According to this Plan Leningrad is developed all the pre-war years.
