The paper presents the analysis of the consequences which can be a result of the process of substitution of urban architectural medium with text-and-advertisement landscape by the example of Australian cities. The author developed suggestions for the settling of the conflict and for the harmonious co-existence of architecture and urban text-and-sign design.
