Features and purpose of historical and cultural examination

n this article the objects of historical and cultural examination are described according to the current legislation. As the primary goals at carrying out of historical and cultural examination the author names priority preservation of a historical and cultural heritage. In article the list of those kinds of works which are carried out in structure of examination is resulted. The author states a critical estimation of expert activity in sphere of a cultural heritage protection.
