To the question of the examination of vertical control benchmarks stability

The paper aims at drawing the attention of specialists-geodesists to the fact that the problem of stability evaluation for the bench marks of vertical control network during monitoring of unique structures or repeated leveling of geodynamic polygons has not lost its topical significance despite the development of modern methods and technologies of geodetic survey utilizing satellite navigation systems, electronic tacheometers and computer-aided processing of observation data/ A methodology is proposed for the equalization of free leveling networks by the generalized method of nodes in matrix formulation that allows obtaining the most probable corrections to the elevations of bench marks of the vertical basic control network.
