Problem of an exact rating of a safe resource of operation of gas pipelines in conditions of their mass aging recently has become aggravated.
The deterioration of a status of pipelines reduces reliability of deliveries of gas and petroleum, increases quantity of failures with heavy ecological, economic and social consequences.
Article considers various methods of a rating of a resource of operation of defective sites of gas pipelines, which can be realized in conditions of the enterprises of gas industry.
