SOME ASPECTS OF CARRYING OUT TRAINING ON THE WORKPLACE WHEN TRAINING IN SAFE METHODS AND METHODS OF WORK IN CONSTRUCTION

A considerable number of accidents in construction happen because of bad arrangement. One of the main points of the arrangement of workplace safety is the fact that each worker is aware of safe methods of work. Training of a new employee on a workplace is the major obligatory element in the system of training in safe methods of work. At the moment there are no official methodical recommendations about carrying out training on a workplace in construction therefore it is carried out at the enterprises in any format. Practice shows that only the question formality is sometimes carried out. For the training to be performed up to standard, it is necessary to develop and apply training programs, as well as diagnostic cards of interning and test of the acquired skills. Practice shows that agencies of the state control and supervision in the sphere of labor protection, when checking in the sphere of training in labor protection, pay great attention to the existence of the documents provided by the legislation on training in requirements of labor protection, but not to actual workers’ knowledge and skills. It is necessary for the agencies of state supervision to check the existence of actual knowledge and skills. It will induce the employer to the actual fulfillment of the functions on creation of healthy and safe working conditions on workplaces. Applying all complex of actions on carrying out training in labor protection, traumatism in construction will be reduced.
