The authors mark the main stages in the problem solution of finding areas of plastic deformations in soil massif in mixed formulation: formulas for calculation of tension in plastic areas that allow to define the location, sizes and form of the latest are presented. Graphics of areas of plastic deformations in models of simultaneously loaded slopes and real soil massif with destructive loads received experimentally and as the result of observation are provided.
