IMPACT OF THERMOTECHNICAL PROPERTIES OF MATERIALS WITH PHYSICAL NONLINEARITY ON OPERATIONAL SAFETY OF FURNACES

The article highlights the results of calculations of the temperature of the furnace walls with linear and nonlinear thermophysical properties that depend on the temperature. Not accounting of the nonlinearity leads to an underestimation of the temperature on the outer surface of a furnace. The nonlinearity of thermophysical properties of materials must be considered when designing and calculating such objects. It will significantly increase their operational safety and reduce the number of industrial injuries.
