ENGINEERING SOLUTION OF BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT COMPLEX WITH NUTRIENT REMOVAL BASED ON SIMULATION MODELING

The paper provides a mechanism for the biological purification of wastewater in the aeration tanks with nutrient removal in connection with simulation modeling, based on software GPS-X. The authors provide the example of zones design optimization for denitrification process MUCT achieved when N-NO3 = 0.3 mg/L. Presented is the typical block for biological treatment with nitrogen and phosphorus removal with flowrate 1140 m3/h due to one section of the aeration tank.
