The article generalizes the experience of teaching logic and humanitarian discipline to the students of institutes of civil engineering. The examples of use of deductive inference as provement in debates in literature and historical themes are provided. Their analysis is offered for the reason to illustrate the laws and principles of formal logic. Special attention is paid to the specific character of teaching humanitarian disciplines and natural science subjects to future builders in Moscow State University of Civil Engineering.
