The urgent problem of failure of gas pipelines in a consequence of presence of stress-corrosion destruction is described in article.
The factors are analyzed which promote stress-corrosion destruction of pipelines. The methods of their prevention are offered, which can be realized in conditions of the enterprises of gas industry.
