The author discusses various methods of determination of resistance to heat transfer of heat insulation of garret floor in a dwelling house to ensure thermal performance of the building: on the basis of the existing methods of calculation according to SNiP 23-02-2003 «Thermal protection of buildings», minimization of the costs according to L. D. Boguslavsky, and on the basis of the mathematical model of the payback period of the additional costs on the device of insulation on the proposal of V. G. Gagarin.
