ABOUT TRUSS RELIABILITY IN COVERINGS OF BUILDINGS AND CONSTRUCTIONS

The method of reliability assessment of statically definable and statically indefinable trusses using Castigliano principle is offered. This method allows define the elements where plastic mechanisms can occur and it will lead to truss destruction. The results of calculations according to the suggested methodology are compared with the known results of tests for different types of trusses.
