IMPROVEMENT OF ASPIRATION SYSTEMS IN GYPSUM PRODUCTION

During the production of gypsum binder a significant amount of dust is emitted both to the atmosphere, and to the working. Main sources of dust emission were defined. Various schemes of aspiration systems at different technological stages of production of gypsum binder are considered. As gypsum possesses high specific electric resistance, it is necessary to clear the air stream from fine gypsum dust before its emission to electrical filters. It is offered to use whirl inertial dust collectors as it significantly decreases dust concentration in the air of working zone and in aspiration system.
