Ultra-short laser impulse in the two-layer medium with the Stark effect

An efficient equation was obtained which describes the dynamics of ultra-short laser impulse in the two-layer medium with the Stark effect and is given by unstable Kadomtsev — Petviashvili equation. The authors carried out and analyzed the reduction which reduces the given equation to the cylindrical Korteweg-de Vries one. They obtained and investigated an asymptotic solution which corresponds to the registration in the scattering data for the Lax problem of the cylindrical Korteweg-de Vries equation of the discrete spectrum state.
