In the article the examples of calculation of stability and strength of landslide pressure of real objects described in professional literature, and objects, in calculation and design of which the authors participated, are given. The efficiency of using the computer program developed in VSUACE when calculating landslide sites, in which finite element method is formalized, analytical solutions to the first and the second fundamental boundary value problems of elasticity theory for a half-plane is showed.
