Efficiency of hydrotransport system, among other factors, is determined by the reliability and durability of both the pipelines and the individual elements of equipment. In its turn the intensity and nature of wearout depends on the number of particles and their velocity near walls, i.e. directly related to the kinematic characteristics of two-phase flow.
The kinematic structure of two-phase flow near the walls of the tube depends on the average density and velocity of hydrotransport. The determination of contacts between kinematic characteristics of two-phase flow and the reliability of hydrotransport systems is the goal of the study.
Comparative analysis showed that the main influence on the efficiency of hydrotransport depends on the total volume of the solid phase. Consequently, the optimal performance is directly related to the selection of the kinematic characteristics of the flow and it provides the highest degree of reliability.
