ANALYSIS OF THE CAUSES OF CONFLICTS AND THE WAYS TO OVERCOME THEM IN MULTICULTURAL EDUCATIONAl SPACE OF THE UNIVERSITY

The article deals with the causes of conflicts in the multicultural educational space of the university, psychological and pedagogical aspects of conflictological training. Special attention is paid to practical forms of dealing with conflicts.
Conflicts are inevitable in student groups, they are the measure of maturity and natural history of the group. Successful solution to the conflict is impossible without analysis of its causes. The author highlights the most common causes of conflicts between students and between teachers and students.
The purpose of conflict training management, developed by the author, is not to eliminate or ignore the conflict and to see the difference between destructive and constructive conflicts, to prevent conflicting behavior associated with the destructive, violent ways of solving contradictions, and to direct the participants to find mutually acceptable solutions.
