The issues of improving water supply systems reliability by implementing modern IT are considered in the article. The subsystem of operational management of repair works on the base of the process approach methodology has been developed (Information Technology Infrastructure Library). It allows to optimize information flows, ensuring close coordination in networks failure restoration of all JSC “PO Vodokanal” structural units, resulting in costs reduction during the elimination of pipelines accidents.
